Our Campaign Ambassadors

We are delighted to have the support of some brilliant ambassadors for the Plate Up campaign such as TV personality chef Nadiya Hussain MBE and Rosemary Shrager. Both have written an open letter to the press, highlighting the issue of holiday hunger, and calling on everyone to join the fight to end food poverty.

“In 2020, there is no place for Holiday Hunger. By just giving £5, the price of a lunch, we can significantly reduce the number of children going hungry this year and beyond. Please join me in fighting to end food poverty.” – Nadiya Hussain

Our campaign is also supported by Levi Roots. This is what he had to say about our Plate Up campaign:

“I have lived in London for fifty years, and seen times of great hardships for many vulnerable communities. However, I have also seen how strong we all are as a collective, and how we can work together in times of crisis.

This is such an unprecedented time, but if you are fortunate enough to be able to help, your donation will make the difference to children who desperately need it. There is no place for hunger. Please join us in fighting food poverty.”- Levi Roots

Our Partners

At Oasis we work with many organisations that share our commitment to save lives. As part of the Plate Up campaign, we have worked alongside Stop Hunger and Meals & More. They helped us with financial donations and bulk donations of food and gave us access to their supply chains when food access became difficult. We are pround to be working alongside them.
